4th Annual Cameron Madison Alexander (“CMA Golf Classic”) to be held at the Canongate Golf Club  "Mirror Lakes" course in Villa Rica, GA on Friday, August 26, 2011.   The CMA Golf Classic was named after Rev. Cameron Alexander to honor his vision and dedication to impacting the lives of the least, the less and the lost by developing Antioch Urban Ministries, Inc. (“AUMI”), a non-profit organization that meets the emotional and social needs of some of Atlanta’s most disenfranchised citizens. He's the Chairman of AUMI and also pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, North. AUMI provides 6 Christian-based residential services: those services assist (persons living with HIV/AIDS), (men and women who are currently recovering from substance abuse), (youth-at-risk programs) (affordable housing) along with several human service ministries that provide food, clothing, shelter and hope to the incarcerated and others needing assistance. Everyday we are bombarded by airbrushed images of beauty. These images have the power to affect how we see our bodies and ourselves. How can we encourage young girls and women everywhere to embrace a more positive image of themselves, both inside and out? Participate in an upcoming Dove Real Beauty Workshop for Girls, 8-12, and Moms. Care and Counseling Center of Georgia has offered a monthly workshop for engaged couples at The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30305, since 1985.  Research has shown that couples who participate in premarital education have more realistic expectations, handle conflict better, and have improved communication skills. Workshops are open to all denominations.
