Catellier Dance
Projects
Seven dancers, a dance media artist, a composer, a
team of designers, a control technician, a robot
camera, and nine six-foot balloons come together for
“…the final frontier,”
a new work from
Catellier Dance Projects,
premiering at Emory’s Schwartz Center for the
Performing Arts, May 17th through the 19th. Catellier Dance Projects
through the guidance of artistic director, Gregory
Catellier, creates “intimate, multi-layered dance
performances for the discerning Atlanta community.”

evening-length works that each ruminates on a
different element of dance: time, space, energy and
body. This piece is the second of such works, with
“Tempo, a non-fiction dance performance” kicking off
the series last May. In “…the final frontier,”
Catellier takes a leap forward into more ambitious
territory, focusing on spatial relationships through
the exploration of architecture, outer space, and
what it means to be close. Catellier Dance Projects
presents “…the final frontier” May 17th through 19th at 8p.m.

Studio. For more
